Reflection on the reading and viewing (module 9)
I really like the movie Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl it is a really good movie. It is one of my favorite rides at Disney Land also. I think that this movie is filled with adventure, love, and suspense. I really like Johnny Depp in this movie he did a good job. When you watch the movie you can defiantly see the parts that relate to the theme ride at Disney Land.
The reading was very interesting. I really like all the movie themes rides and I see how others are attracted to them. The parks that have these rides make some big bucks off of the movies. I found it interesting that they start building the ride before the movie comes out it seems like a chance but it has worked out a lot.

Sarah, although I have never experienced the “Pirates” Disneyland ride, I agree that the film was well made and enjoyable. Johnny Depp is one of my favorite actors, and I really liked the way he interpreted Jack Sparrow’s character.
I thought the concept of basing movies on rides was a little backwards, but apparently, it has worked out well for Disney. From what you and others have said, the rides are an extraordinary experience, so Disney bets (correctly, usually) that a good number of people will subsequently turn out to see the films.

I agree with you, Pirates of the Caribbean was a wonderful movie, full of adventure and excitment. I hope to visit the ride at disney land soon.
