Reflection on the reading and viewing
This was the first time I had ever seen “Easy Rider”. It was a different type of movie that I don’t usually watch. I enjoyed the music and found the movie a little bizzare. The movie seemed to be filmed as if you were on their drug induced trip with them experiencing all their ups and downs. The look to movies has sure changed over the years along with the way they were censored by the production code and are now rated on a scale G, PG ect. Movies should have the right to make and say what they like. Just like I have the right to watch their movie or not. The movie indusrty is huge and has been around for a long time. I don’t think I really realized this untill I started this class.

Sarah,
I totally agree with you about the movie. I also thought some of the music was pretty cool. So far this class is fun, I think that by the time this class is over we are going to know a lot about the film industry.

I also liked most of the music, I felt each song whether I liked it or not ft into the scene. For example I really like the scene with “Born to be Wild” I liked how they main characters were out on their bikes in the breeze with that song.

I like the way you think about being able to film anything you want. If you don’t like it, don’t go see it.

I agree, however, I know of many people who view movies with violence, sex, drugs etc. with their children around and watching. I feel that is very wrong. The kids do not have a choice like an adult to view or not view.

I thought that the movie was awkward also. I don’t know who would actually pay to see it.
